A statistic we know way too well: Cancer is the second-leading cause of death worldwide.
A cancer diagnosis changes a person’s life. It may also affect his or her financial situation. The Cancer Fund is a designated collection geared toward cancer patients in need of financial assistance. It helps defray expenses, including:
- Transportation to medical appointments.
Chances are that either you or someone you know has been affected by cancer. United Way of the Ozarks wants you to know that we are here to help.
If you're a cancer patient who needs assistance, please call United Way of the Ozarks (417-863-7700) for information on an application and qualifications. Our applications are distributed through Community Partnership of the Ozarks.
