Volunteers on this day will clean up 2-4 lots that Habitat for Humanity owns. This includes mowing, weed eating, removing shrubs and growth, and removing any trash accumulation. Habitat for Humanity acquires property on a regular basis through purchase or donation. We hold on to this property until we need a lot to build a home on. Sometimes we may not need a lot for a long time, but if someone is donating it to us, we do not want to turn the land away. Therefore we keep the land until it is needed and must maintain it. We must keep this property maintained under city code. Please try to carpool if possible, parking on the street is limited.
