Matching Community Volunteers with Seniors to Maintain Their Homes and Independence.
Hands on for Seniors, an initiative of United Way of the Ozarks that matches seniors in need of home repair with community volunteers who can help. This program is generously funded by the Greene County Senior Citizen Fund.
Hands on for Seniors helps seniors who are trying to remain independent and self-sufficient in their homes for as long as possible. In 2018, we helped 63 seniors with more than 365 projects.
Eligibility Requirements:
Senior citizen age 60 years or older
Must own the home
Must have home owner’s insurance
Must reside in Greene County
