As you spend time with your loved ones this holiday season and reflect back on the year, we hope you take time to reflect about the great work United Way of the Ozarks has done.
It is our hope that you continue to support the work we do in the community to help lift people out of poverty. In 2016 we served more than 311,000 people and we are on track to exceed that this year. For many of these, this assistance meant they didn’t have to choose between buying groceries for their families or paying their rent. It meant kids had a safe place to go after school; it meant a warm, dry place to sleep for a 16-year-old girl; it meant a mom and her two children could escape an abusive family member.
With your help, we hope to serve even more in 2018. By making a tax-deductable donation, a Springfield Public Schools 2nd-grader will get help with his homework next year. By making a tax-deductable donation, a 17-year-old girl won’t have to drop out of school, but instead will finish her education at OTC Middle College. By making that tax-deductable donation, a 9-year-old boy whose father is incarcerated gets a new role model in the form of a big brother.
If you’ve already given, thank you! If you’re looking for a way to give, you can make a donation here.
You make a difference. Your gift makes an impact.
