Vice President of Communication & Volunteerism
Be part of a 90-year-old start-up. Vice President for Communication & Volunteerism serves as a member of United Way of the Ozarks' leadership team, under the general direction of the President/CEO. Plans, directs, and supervises all communication activities and the strategic direction for marketing, branding and communications. Builds "community ownership." Responsibilities include media, print, newsletters, website, video and social media. Design and produce collateral (print, web, social media, video) for the annual fundraising campaign and other activities. Supervises, manages, plans and directs volunteer activities (e.g., Day of Caring, Women United!) and various events (e.g., Campaign Kick-Off). Supervises staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in a communications leadership position is required; a minimum of five years of professional experience in communications, sales and/or marketing is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience of professional staff is required.
Annual salary: $55,000-60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
